Essential oils are complex mixtures of naturally-occurring compounds that exist in some plants which have fragrant flowers, leaves, wood, bark, roots, or seeds.
Because essential oils are so concentrated, only a very small amount is needed - usually just one to four drops depending on the method of use. The practice of using essential oils, and other aromatic plant substances, is known as Aromatherapy.
Aromatherapy is a natural, non-invasive treatment system designed to affect the whole person not just the symptom. It is to assist the body's natural ability to balance, regulate, heal and maintain itself by the correct use of essential oils.
I do not provide full sessions of Aromatherapy; however it can be incorporated into an Intuitive Bodywork session as part of your treatment.
